When my husband and I were taking a walk one evening in a Haifa park about 20 years ago, I was carrying the book "The Source" by James Michener. I decided to reread it for the visit to Israel. An Israeli couple, also strolling, noticed the book and exclaimed, "Oh, we loved Michener's "Hawaii," but he left so much out of "The Source!"
