Correspondent | April 12, 2002 JERUSALEM (JPS) — An Israel Defense Force reserve officer and three soldiers have been sentenced to jail time for refusing to obey call-up orders for service in the Palestinian territories. The four were sentenced to between 14 and 35 days of detention for refusing to obey emergency orders to report for service in the territories. Three of the soldiers previously served jail time for refusing orders to serve in locations over the Green Line. Thirty-four soldiers are now sitting in military prisons for refusing to serve in the Palestinian territories, Israel Radio reported. J. Correspondent Also On J.
