Correspondent | January 20, 2006 Israeli journalist Isabel Kershner will discuss her new book, “Barrier: The Seam of the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict,” at two upcoming appearances in the Bay Area. Kershner is an award-winning editor and reporter at the Jerusalem Report, specializing in Palestinian affairs. Her book talks about the effects the security barrier is having on both Israelis and Palestinians who live near it, as well as those who support and oppose it. Her visit here is co-sponsored by the New Israel Fund. Kershner will be speaking 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29 at Cody’s, 2 Stockton St., S.F., and 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30 at Congregation Netivot Shalom, 1316 University Ave., Berkeley.
