Correspondent | February 10, 2006 Shlomo Ben-Ami, former Israeli minister of foreign affairs, will be in the Bay Area to talk about his new book, “Scars of War, Wounds of Peace: The Israeli-Arab Tragedy.” The book is largely based on his experiences in many of the key Israeli-Arab peace conferences, including the Camp David summit in 2000. Ben-Ami will speak at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11 at the Berkeley Richmond Jewish Community Center, 1414 Walnut St., Berkeley. Tickets are $5.
