Rabbi Ari Cartun officiated at the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Dianne Gershuny of Mountain View, the late Kenneth R. Kaye and the late Mary-Lou (Aufhauser) Kaye. She graduated from Los Altos High School, earned a bachelor’s degree in French literature and international studies from Yale University and a Master’s in politics, emphasizing Africa, from Princeton University. She was a 2003 Fulbright Scholar. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in politics from Princeton University and is doing field research for her doctoral dissertation in central Kenya. She has changed her name to Eva W. Kaye-Zwiebel. The groom is the son of Felix and Muriel Zwiebel of Minneapolis, Minnesota. He graduated from St. Louis Park High School, earned a bachelor’s degree in physics and mathematics from the University of Chicago, and a Ph.D. in theoretical physics from Princeton University. He was a 2001 Gates Cambridge Scholar. He is a post-doctoral research associate at Cambridge University, England. He has accepted a post-doctoral research fellowship at Caltech beginning in August 2009. The couple expects to reside in Pasadena, CA beginning late this summer. J. Correspondent Also On J.
