Ross teen named one of JVibes 18 Under 18

Erin Schrode, an 18-year-old Ross resident, was featured along with 17 other inspiring teen leaders in the July/August issue of JVibe, a national magazine for Jewish teens.

Schrode cofounded several green organizations, including Teens Turning Green, Teens for Safe Cosmetics and Project Green Prom, which encourage teens to make educated, environmentally sound choices about what they buy.

JVibe’s “18 Under 18” awards, its first ever, were given to 18 inspiring young adults who have taken part in projects ranging from helping genocide victims in Darfur to encouraging students to become leaders in their local government. Winners received a limited-edition 18 Under 18 T-shirt. For a full list of winners, visit www.18under18.com.
