Newton Harband and Katherine Peck were married at the Marin Art and Garden Center in Ross on June 14, 2009.

They were attended by their two families: Jeffrey and Vida Harband and their children, Jared and Matthew; David and Stefany Harband and their children, Olivia and Adam; and Matthew and Nathan Peck. After the celebration, the bride and groom honeymooned in Italy.

Miriam Hannah Bloom and Jacob Grant Williams will be married on Sunday, September 6th at B.R. Cohn Winery in Sonoma, California. Rabbi Michelle Fisher, currently the executive director of Hillel at MIT, will officiate with assistance from Cantor Marc A. Dinkin, of Congregation B’Nai Shalom. The bride, 26, works in Manhattan as the Logistics Manager for Louis Vuitton. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of Michael E. Bloom, and Deborah B. Bloom of Danville, CA. Miriam was a member of the Contra Costa Midrasha class of 2004, traveled to Israel with the East Bay Jewish Federation in 1998, and attended Hebrew School at B’Nai Shalom. The bridegroom, 33 and known as “Jake,” is a reporter for the Shelter Island Reporter in Shelter Island, NY. He graduated from Cornell University and received a Masters degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri at Columbia. He is the son of Paul C. Williams of Glencoe, IL and Diane Williams of Manhattan.The couple currently lives in Huntington, NY.
