Correspondent | September 18, 2009 The Jewish Sports Hall of Fame of Northern California will premiere its permanent, state-of-the-art “Wall of Fame” at the Taube Koret Campus for Jewish Life in Palo Alto on Sept. 29. During a cocktail reception and ceremony, which are open to the public on an RSVP basis, the Hall of Fame will unveil its interactive wall of touch screens featuring enshrined athletes. The list includes former Oakland A’s first basemen Mike Epstein, sports agent Leigh Steinberg and champion swimmer Wendy Paskin-Jordan. The two-hour event on Sept. 29 begins with a reception at 5:30 p.m. and includes a 6:15 p.m. ceremony paying tribute to Hall of Fame inductees and student athletes. KGO radio’s Jon Rothmann is the emcee. The Taube Koret Campus for Jewish Life is located at 901 San Antonio Road, Palo Alto.
