Correspondent | October 23, 2009 The Business Leadership Council of the S.F.-based Jewish Community Federation will hold its second annual Jewish Vintners’ Wine Tasting on Nov. 12. More than 25 wineries from Napa, Sonoma and Israel that are affiliated with members of the local Jewish community will participate in the event, which runs from 6-8:30 p.m. The wine tasting will take place at Fromm Hall on the University of San Francisco campus, 650 Parker Ave., S.F. Event co-chair Dick Wollack, founder of the real estate investment firm Global Real Analytics, serves as president of Premier Pacific Vineyards in Napa Valley. He invited winemakers, many of them Jewish, to present their new wines at the tasting. Participating wineries include B.R. Cohn Winery, Bighorn Cellars, Frank Family Vineyards, Hagafen Cellars, Honig Vineyard and Winery, Idell Family Vineyards, JC Cellars, Judd’s Hill, Leaf & Twig and Schlein Vineyard.
