New mothers in need of support — or just looking to make some mom friends — can attend a new support group run by Parents Place in San Rafael, a program of Jewish Family and Children’s Services. The six-week series is open to parents and their infants up to 9 months. The group will be led by social worker Rebecca Breen and will meet 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesdays from Oct. 6 to Nov. 10 at JFCS, 600 Fifth Ave., San Rafael.
