Fifth-generation San Franciscan, Elliot Myer Coffman, to be called “Leo,” was born on August 27, 2010. Leo was welcomed by his big sister, Naomi Rose, his parents, Heather & David Coffman, his grandparents, Eleanor & the late Ralph Coffman of San Francisco and Joan & Charles Robert of Long Beach, New York, and his uncle Jay Robert and aunt Catey Hill of Brooklyn, New York. He takes his middle name from both his great-great-great grandfather, Rabbi Myer Sol Levy, who served at three Bay Area congregations from 1873-1916, and from his great-great uncle Myer (Mike) Kahn, a past president of Congregation Emanu-El in San Francisco.
