The San Francisco Jewish Film Festival has been awarded a $25,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts to support the festival’s 2011 program. The award represents a 20 percent increase over 2010, and marks the 11th consecutive year that the film fest has received an NEA grant. The oldest and largest Jewish film festival in the world, the SFJFF is also the only one in the country to win an NEA grant for Access to Artistic Excellence.
