Mitzi Lederer Mitzi Lederer, born in Prostejov, Czechoslovakia on June 23, 1911 will celebrate her 100th birthday with family and friends in Foster City. Mitzi, who had a premonition of worse things to come, insisted on her family leaving her homeland during Nazi occupation, and together with her husband and twin sons hastily departed for Panama in ’39 followed by making her permanent residency in S.F. in ’47. She now makes her home in San Mateo in close proximity to her twin sons Peter (Doris) and George (Sheila), grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. J.
