News Glenn Beck speaks to Knesset group Facebook Twitter Email SMS WhatsApp Share By J. Correspondent | July 15, 2011 Talk show host Glenn Beck told a Knesset committee this week that those who advocate for Israel must reach out to synagogues and churches alike. In a July 11 address to the Immigration, Absorption and Diaspora Affairs Committee, Beck encouraged lawmakers to “stop playing the game” of mainstream media. He called on members of parliament to “speak the truth” about Israel and its adversaries. Beck, whose TV show on Fox aired for the final time at the end of June, addressed the committee at the invitation of its chairman, Danny Danon of the Likud Party. Beck’s visit to Israel reportedly was being filmed for his online show, which will be used to promote his announced “Restoring Courage” rally to be held in Jerusalem in late August. Herman Cain, a 2012 Republican presidential candidate, and Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) have said they will attend the rally. — jta J. Correspondent Also On J.
