News Boy beaten near Paris Jewish school Facebook Twitter Email SMS WhatsApp Share By J. Correspondent | March 30, 2012 School officials say a 12-year-old boy was beaten by youths shouting anti-Semitic slogans outside the Jewish school he attends in Paris. The incident at the Ozar Hatorah school in the French capital occurred despite high security around Jewish schools and synagogues in France following the March 19 shooting attack in Toulouse that left three children and a rabbi dead. That shooting also took place at an Ozar Hatorah school. Jean-Paul Amoyelle, president of the Ozar Hatorah network in France, says the 12-year-old boy was beaten March 26 as he left school. It happened about 300 feet from the entrance, out of sight of the police officers guarding the school. The boy did not suffer serious injuries. It is unclear who the assailants were. — ap J.
