Fellowship program seeking applicants

The Jeremiah Fellowship, a leadership-training program for 22- to 32-year-old Jews, is now accepting applications for its next cohort in the Bay Area.

A program of Bend the Arc, the fellowship is a nine-month program that runs from September through May, culminating in a community-based action project. Fellows take part in skill-building sessions, mentorship and Jewish study. They also engage in local community organizing campaigns, community service and advocacy.

Bend the Arc (formerly the Progressive Jewish Alliance and Jewish Funds for Justice) also runs Jeremiah Fellowship cohorts in Southern California and Washington, D.C. Applications for the 2012-13 Bay Area fellowship are due by July 31. For information, visit www.bendthearc.us/jeremiah-fellowship.
