Correspondent | February 8, 2013 Israel security forces arrested 25 Palestinians in the West Bank, including nine senior Hamas lawmakers. The arrests of the Hamas legislators, which is unusual, took place throughout the West Bank, including in Nablus, Hebron, Ramallah and Kalkilya early Feb. 4. The Palestinians reportedly did not resist arrest, though villagers attacked some soldiers with stones. Hamas reportedly has been trying to rebuild its organization in the West Bank, which is currently dominated by Palestinian Authority President Mah-moud Abbas’ Fatah party. — jta J.
