A Kassam rocket fired from Gaza exploded in southern Israel hours after the resumption of Israeli-Palestinian peace talks in Washington.

The rocket landed in an open area on July 30 after Code Red warning sirens sounded in several southern Israeli communities. No damage or injuries were reported.
