The board of trustees of San Francisco’s Contemporary Jewish Museum has named David Levine as the new chairman, succeeding longtime chair Roselyne “Cissie” Swig.

Levine, a senior vice president of the real estate firm PNC in San Francisco, joined the museum board in 2000.

Swig was chair for more than six years, and will continue to serve on the museum’s board. Several new members of the 43-member board were also announced. They are Elliott Felson, Glenn Meyers, Michael Righi, Esther Sherman, Luba Troyanovsky, Jamie M. Weinstein, Howard Wollner and Michael Zeff.
