Enthusiastic crowds turn out for the Jewish Music Festival’s free outdoor concerts July 11 at Yerba Buena Gardens in San Francisco. Artists included Eprhyme, Glenn Hartman and the Klezmer Playboys, and many others. There was even an “instrument petting zoo” for the kids.

The festival’s final performance takes place 8 p.m. Sunday, July 18 at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, 701 Mission St., S.F. The closing show includes Watcha Clan from Marseilles, France and San Francisco’s Charming Hostess performing Algerian, Sephardi, Ashkenzi and French music.
