Piedmont’s Kehilla Community Synagogue celebrated the grand opening of its new preschool, Happy Together, in June.

The preschool, which has been in the planning stages for the past two years, is a play-based program for children ages 2 to 5. Applications are now being accepted for the coming year’s school, which opens Aug. 30.

Happy Together will focus on developing children’s self-expression and well-being, and also offers Spanish language and Jewish cultural enrichment programs. The teacher-student ratio is one to five, with class size capped at 15.

Kehilla Community Synagogue is located at 1300 Grand Ave., Piedmont. For more information and to enroll, visit www.happytogetherpreschool.com.
