Rabbi Howard Ruben (far left), head of school at Jewish Community High School in San Francisco, joins students and guests at lunch Feb. 22 during JCHS’ first Grandparents and Special Friends Society event. Ruben led a “Lunch and Learn” discussion in the library, then joined the 16 guests —  along with their grandchildren and others, in the school’s commons for lunch. The afternoon closed with a staged reading of student-written plays in the Performing Arts Theater.
