After school program in Berkeley provides a welcoming, safe environment where each child can have fun and make friends as they develop a sense of independence and experience community. Additional to the core activities, group programming, celebrations, and structured and unstructured play is a wide array of enrichment classes in music, art, cooking, drama and martial arts. Program incorporates elements of Jewish traditions and culture, including Kabbalat Shabbat on Friday afternoons and Jewish holiday celebrations. Programs are fully licensed through the California Community Care Licensing Division, serving as after school destinations for elementary and middle school children in the Berkeley, Albany, and West Contra Costa school districts.
