For people of all ages, at any stage of a chronic or serious illness—as well as at the end of life—interdisciplinary palliative care team provides extra layers of support to people of all ages.  Palliative care improves quality of life and helps relieve physical, emotional and spiritual suffering.

Care can be provided at any time during the course of a serious illness, starting from the day of diagnosis.
