“Yet, not one prominent Muslim or Arab leader has stood up to say no to anti-Israel incitement and anti-Semitism,” he said.

Among the examples documented in the Saudi, Egyptian and Palestinian government-controlled press are a comparison of Zionism and Nazism in Egypt’s Al-Ahram and a charge that Jews killed Jesus and persecuted Christians, made on Palestinian TV.

In the April 29 edition of Al-Akhbar, another Egyptian daily, the Holocaust was described as “a huge Israeli plot,” and the writer complained to Hitler: “If only you had done it, brother, if only it had really happened, so that the world could sigh in relief [without] their evil and sin.”

An April 12 sermon broadcast on Palestinian TV, which is run by the Palestinian Authority, Palestinian Authority Imam Sheik Ibrahim Madhi told his congregants that “the dead of the Jews go to hell, as a cruel fate…Jesus’ pure hands will murder the false Jewish messiah.”
