Correspondent | January 23, 2004 The Koret Foundation has inaugurated a $500,000 matching grant benefiting four programs that respond to emergency needs stemming from ongoing terrorism. The funds benefit the Koret Israel Economic Development Funds, which secure loan guarantees and subsidized interest rates for small Israeli businesses; Pups for Peace, a firm that trains bomb-sniffing dogs; Natal, the Israel Trauma Center for Victims of Terror; and the Tikveh project of Maccabi World Union, which offers rehabilitation to terror victims through sports and fitness programs.
