Salkin has been named the new executive director of the Richard and Rhoda Goldman Fund and the Goldman Environmental Foundation. Salkin is the recently departed chief executive officer of the Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco. Founded in 1951, the Richard and Rhoda Goldman Fund is a private, charitable family foundation that supports nonprofit organizations that enhance the quality of life, primarily in the Bay Area. The Goldman Environmental Foundation awards the Goldman Environmental Prize, the world’s largest prize program honoring grassroots environmentalists.
