Correspondent | January 13, 2006 The Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley will host its first week-long interfaith beit midrash and Islamic madrasa beginning Tuesday, Jan. 17. The comparison study will view gender and sexuality through the lens of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. The course will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, Jan. 17-19 and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, Jan. 20 at the Fireside Room, Starr King School for the Ministry, 2441 LeConte Ave., Berkeley. The program costs $622.50. Three free evening lectures on the same topic will be held at the same location at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, Jan. 17, 18 and 19.
