Correspondent | April 18, 2008 The American Jewish Committee launched an Arabic Web site about Jews and Judaism called Asl al Yahud (www.aslalyahud.com). Yehudit Barsky, director of the project, said the site will “facilitate a deeper understanding and tolerance towards Jews.” “We’re demystifying Judaism and dispelling widespread misinformation about the Jewish people in the Middle East, North Africa and beyond,” he said.
