The sting of loss

Sadly, the planet is losing some of its energetic hum: Honeybee populations are decreasing at rapid rates worldwide, and nobody knows exactly why. Urban Adamah will screen the award-winning “Vanishing of the Bees,” followed by a brief discussion of the film with local beekeepers and gardeners. That will keep the East Bay, at least, buzzing.
