Registration is now open for next year’s East Bay Community Trip to Israel, a 10-day journey from April 10-19, 2013. The trip is presented by the Jewish Federation and the Jewish Community Foundation of the East Bay, along with more than a dozen East Bay congregations and the JCC of the East Bay.

The trip allows participants to design their own schedules and itineraries, choosing from five excursion options each day: arts and culture; geopolitical landscape; historic Israel; innovations such as green and high-tech; and social action.

In addition, there will be a special excursion for participants ages 25-45, sponsored by EastBayJews, the federation’s young adult division. Also, there are options for two add-on excursions after the Israel trip: a four-day jaunt into Jordan and a 12-day trip to Spain.

The cost of the Israel trip, which includes accommodations and touring costs but not airline flights, ranges from $2,420 to $3,000; subsidies up to $750 are available to those who live or work in the East Bay or Napa County.
