Jeremiah Fellowship deadline is nearing Facebook Twitter Email SMS WhatsApp Share By J. Correspondent | July 20, 2012 Bend the Arc, a national social action agency, is stepping up its efforts to find 22- to 32-year-old Jews for its next Jeremiah Fellowship cohort in the Bay Area. Noting that “some of our best candidates … have come from personal recommendations,” Bend the Arc is asking for nominations before the July 31 deadline. Interested applicants are being sought, as well. The fellowship is a nine-month program that runs from September through May, culminating in a community-based action project. Fellows take part in skill-building sessions, mentorship and Jewish study. They also engage in local community organizing campaigns, community service and advocacy. Bend the Arc (formerly the Progressive Jewish Alliance and Jewish Funds for Justice) is seeking nominations at www.bit.ly/OQSkHQ. Also, those interested in applying can find further information at www.bendthearc.us/jeremiah-fellowship. J. Correspondent Also On J.
