Weddings

Rebecca Lite and Garrett Candau were married June 4, 2023, in a beautiful outdoor ceremony in Novato, California, with Cantor David Margules of Congregation Rodef Sholom officiating. Rebecca is the daughter of Miriam and Steve Lite of San Rafael, and sister of Henri Lite. Garrett is the son of Julie and Paul Candau of Walnut Creek, brother of Joshua Candau, and grandson of Patricia Candau. Rebecca and Garrett met while at Jewish Camp Nai Nai Nai in Santa Cruz four years ago, instantly realizing they were each other’s soulmate. They reside in San Francisco, are avid concertgoers, and love to travel and connect with their Jewish peers.

Anniversaries

Married on June 16, 1963, Gary and Judy Bader of San Francisco celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at the Basque Cultural Center. Joining them were their sons Ian (Nancy) and Marc (Cheryl), their grandchildren Mira, Miles and Dinah (granddaughter Vonne was away on a mandatory school trip), and very close family and friends. They feel very blessed and thankful to have reached this amazing milestone.
