Mensch mixer

On Tu B’Av, the modern Jewish holiday of love, many people wish for a mensch. That longing could become a reality at the Oshman Family JCC’s monthly mixer for young adults in their 20s and 30s. The evening’s special guests are some of the single men featured in the 2013 “Mensch of the Month” calendar, including Mr. February (above) who are “chosen but not taken.”  Proceeds from the calendars benefit SMART, a local education nonprofit, and donations to SMART will be welcome at the door. So come on by — good times, good looks and a good cause guaranteed.
