A group of women working on a pictorial history of Solano County Jewish life is looking for stories and/or photos from any period in the area’s history.
As part of Arcadia Publishing’s “Images of America” series, the planned book will include as much history as the authors are able to find. The county includes Vallejo, Vacaville, Benicia and Rio Vista, and the authors say there have been Jews in the region since before Solano County was incorporated.
