Help bring Passover to homebound seniors, people with disabilities and families in crisis by assembling or delivering “seder sacks” from S.F.-based Jewish Family and Children’s Services.

Sacks include gefilte fish, matzah, macaroons and other Passover foods, and are distributed to nearly 3,000 people in San Francisco, Marin and Sonoma counties and on the Peninsula. To volunteer, call (415) 449-1288 by Tuesday, April 1.

Donations of $18 per sack are also welcome; make your gift by April 11 and JFCS wlll send a personalized Passover greeting card on your behalf. To donate, call (415) 449-1256 or email [email protected].

Similarly, volunteers for JFCS of the East Bay will deliver about 185 meals and bags of groceries to clients in Alameda and Contra Costa counties.
