A new support group for those who have suffered the loss of a loved one is being offered by Jewish Family and Children’s Services in Palo Alto, starting in July.

The eight-week group, facilitated by professional grief counselors, supports healing after the death of a loved one. The emotional, spiritual and psychological aspects of the grieving process will be explored in a safe and supportive environment. The group is suitable for anyone who has suffered a loss — regardless of age, faith or relation to the loved one who died.

Sessions will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Mondays, beginning July 7, at JFCS Koret Family Resource Center, 200 Channing Ave., Palo Alto. For information, call (415) 449-3777 or email [email protected].
