Free half-hour consultations with elder law attorney Janice Sternfeld are available for seniors or their family members in the North Bay. Seniors At Home, a program of Jewish Family and Children’s Services in Sonoma County, offers consultations on the third Thursday of every month, from 10 a.m. until noon. Topics can include advance health care directives, planning for incapacity, conservatorships, estate planning, wills and trusts, probate, special needs trusts, and public benefits, including Medi-Cal and veterans’ benefits.
