Inside an insular community. Exploring the clash between traditional observance and an evolving feminist consciousness, the morality play “Mikveh” was a hit in Israel. Written by Hadar Galron, it tells the story of seven Orthodox women converging at a ritual bath. Performed in Hebrew with English supertitles.
