Camp Be’chol Lashon
An overnight leadership summer camp for multicultural Jewish children. Located in Marin County, it draws campers from across the United States and around the world. While all children are invited to be part of a global Jewish community, this camp provides ethnically and racially diverse Jews with an opportunity to see themselves as an integral part of the Jewish people.
In addition to typical camp activities like sports, swimming, kayaking, canoeing and arts and crafts, each day campers use their “Passports” to learn about the history and culture of Jewish communities around the world. Activities highlight the ways universal Jewish values find unique expression in different places. Children explore their personal identities, moving from individual stories to seeing themselves as part of the global Jewish people.
Diverse camp staff fosters positive Jewish identity development in a safe, nurturing environment. Campers develop Jewish friendship circles and build deeper connections to Jewish life. Campers learn how to be community leaders, make lifelong friends and have fun and memorable experiences.
Camp is nondenominational. Camperships are available. For more information email: [email protected] or visit: globaljews.org/camp/
