Grants advanced degrees in Jewish studies and offers courses and academic programs for the Graduate Theological Union and Bay Area communities. Degrees offered include the M.A., Ph.D, a certificate degree in Jewish studies and a joint doctoral program in Jewish studies with UC Berkeley. Auditors are welcome with faculty consent. The Center for Jewish Studies additionally provides community and religious programs and brings speakers to the GTU and throughout the Bay Area, all free and open to the public.
