Jewish Community Library
Serves as a unique ground for discovery, where Jews and non-Jews alike can explore Jewish tradition, history and culture. The library holds nearly 40,000 physical items, along with a robust ebook and audiobook collection, book group support and more than 60 public programs each year, both in person and online. Staff offer expert reference assistance.
Patrons from a wide range of backgrounds connect with the riches of Jewish life and tradition on their own terms—whether studying Torah, reading poetry, watching films or engaging with contemporary issues through a Jewish lens. Library programs bring thousands together to learn and converse, and its resources help hundreds of Bay Area readers share in meaningful exchange sparked by literature.
Located on the Jewish Community High School campus, the library offers free parking in a gated garage. A weekly pushcart at the Oshman Family JCC brings the library’s collection to South Bay residents.
