The Jewish presence in Alameda for more than 100 years—a progressive Reform congregation for all ages. A small, lively and engaging congregation on the east end of Alameda, with a religious school starting at pre-K. Shabbat services on Friday night are held in person and on Zoom at 7:30 p.m.. Monthly Saturday morning services start at 10:30 a.m., followed by a light luncheon. Monthly Saturday morning Tot Shabbat service for families with children under 6 years old is free and open to non-members.

This synagogue is about creating community, nurturing souls and enriching lives. Values are shared through an emphasis on home and family, tikkun olam (making the world a better place), Talmud Torah (lifelong Jewish learning) and creating sacred moments of spiritual exploration through worship.
