Singer-musician Lior Ben-Hur and his band, Sol Tevél, achieved a career milestone with his first CD to hit the Billboard charts. His new album, “So I Wander,” debuted at No. 14 on Billboard Magazine’s Reggae chart for the week ending March 4.
The Israeli-born artist moved to the Bay Area in 2004 and went on to form his 8-piece reggae-influenced band, which released its debut EP in 2015. The San Francisco-based group went on to tour with such artists as Stephen Marley and Black Uhuru.
Some of his music includes Hebrew lyrics and Jewish themes.
“So I Wander,” by Ben-Hur and Sol Tevél, was released in February.
