Israeli Artists in Conversation with Israel

Israeli art has always been informed by the social and political climates in which it exists – and can help shape those climates as well. A three-day Berkeley conference, “Israeli Artists in Conversation with Israel” brings together a diverse range of artists and scholars, including Jerusalem’s c.a.t.a.m.o.n. Dance Group, visual and performance artist Nelly Agassi, sociology of music professor Motti Regev and oudist Yair Nalal, to discuss issues through the prism of arts with performances, installations, film screenings, lectures and round tables. $40-$54.
