“Jewish Identity in American Film” examines two classic American films that echo different attitudes toward Jews. The showing and discussion of “Gentleman’s Agreement” are from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Thursdays, Sept. 17 and Sept. 24, followed by “Frisco Kid” from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Oct. 1 and Oct. 8. Cost is $30 for members and $40 for the public. Drop-in costs are $10 and $12, $5 for S.F. Hillel students.
