Opened in 2019, Boichik Bagels now operates stores in two locations in Berkeley, one in Palo Alto, one in Larkspur and one in Santa Clara, where hungry customers also can find spreads, salads and party platters. Once available only at farmers markets and in retail shops, Healdsburg Bagels — a new Readers’ Choice winner this year — now is part of the Drewish Deli, a grab-and-go spot that features “fresh bagels, savory pastrami, and homemade matzo ball soup in the heart of wine country.” Other menu items include house-made potato salad, coleslaw and Israeli carrot salad.
