In 2003, Covenant founders Jeff Morgan and Leslie Rudd were inspired “to bring a new California perspective to a 3,500-year-old winemaking tradition.” Originally a 500-case Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon project has now grown more than ten-fold, as Covenant works with grapes from family-run vineyards all over California and in Israel.

Founded in 1979, Hagafen Cellars specializes in award-winning kosher wines from owners and operators Irit and Ernie Weir. The winery engages in several sustainable activities, including “powering the winery by solar power, collecting rainwater for re-use in irrigation and growing all of our own grapes organically.” Hagafen also sells extra-virgin olive oil from trees on the estate.
