JCC mural to receive Precita Eyes award
The Jewish Community Center of San Francisco’s Club 18 will receive the Precita Eyes Public Mural Award at the SF/Bay Area Mural Awareness Month Award Ceremony Benefit Dinner and Dance. The mural being honored was painted by J. Garcia of Precita Eyes Muralists, and is located in the JCC’s Club 18 Teen Center. Garcia’s mural combines graffiti art, tagging and traditional Jewish objects. The benefit will take place from 6 p.m. to midnight tomorrow at City College S.F. Little Theater and Student Union.
