This music, which will be sung by vocalist Theresa Tova, was first performed in the theaters of New York’s Lower East Side between 1909 and 1912. The staff of the Thomashefsky Project has worked to locate, reconstruct and preserve the surviving manuscripts. This is the first time this music will be performed in almost a century.
